Sofia Pratas Morais (Portugal, 1983) uses photography as a form of introspection, exploring personal discomforts and the ways others inhabit the world. In 2025, she presented desculpa in a solo exhibition at Adorna Gallery and in Granta magazine. Since 2021, she has participated in group exhibitions and projects, including with MNAC, Encontros da Imagem & Território and ZDB Gallery. She studied photography at Atelier de Lisboa and is a regular participant in the Ursel August Artistic Residency. She attended the Master's programme in Curatorial Studies at the University of Coimbra and holds a degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Software Engineering.
